Innovative health promotion program at Tilia Clinic in Utena
Project implementer – MB "Tilialigno" (Tilia clinic)
Project objective
To reduce social exclusion and improve the physical and emotional health of older residents of the city of Utena, helping to reduce pain, improve mobility and increase independence in everyday life. We will pay special attention to residents of the Utena district over the age of 60. We know that due to limited financial opportunities, quality health services are not easily accessible to everyone, so we want to give them more opportunities to take care of their health.
Project activities
The project plans to purchase two modern therapeutic rehabilitation lasers, which will expand Tilia Clinic's capabilities to provide hardware therapy and wellness services.
The equipment will be accessible to all who need these services, with special attention being paid to the elderly and those experiencing social exclusion. In order to increase the accessibility of services, a social business model will be developed and opportunities will be created for socially vulnerable residents to receive free or partially compensated services.
Expected result
The project aims to expand the offer of innovative health services in Utena, create better opportunities for residents to take care of their health, and contribute to improving the independence and quality of life of older people.
The project is an important step in developing a socially responsible and sustainable business, which combines the provision of wellness services with the goal of creating a positive social impact on the local community.
