Aesthetic medicine
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
+ What is aesthetic medicine?
+ What is important to consider when choosing aesthetic medicine services?
- The specialist performing the procedure – aesthetic medicine services can only be provided by dermatologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons or aesthetic medicine doctors. At our Tilia clinic, procedures are performed by Dr. Anton Borisov, a maxillofacial surgeon and aesthetic medicine specialist with 24 years of experience working with facial and neck tissues. All our procedures are performed strictly according to international protocols that have proven their effectiveness and high level of safety.
- Tools used – only certified, safe and professional products that meet high quality and hygiene standards should be used for aesthetic medical procedures. At Tilia Clinic, we use only high-quality, effective products with the necessary permits. The procedures are performed in comfortable conditions, using modern pain relief equipment.
- To ensure that the service is tailored to your individual needs – a reliable clinic always assesses the individual skin condition, needs and expectations in order to select the most suitable treatment or beauty solution. In our clinic in Utena, botulinum injections and other aesthetic medical procedures are performed only after a consultation, as each case is very individual.

+ How long do the effects of botulinum injections last?
Before botulinum toxin injections, it is recommended to take zinc picolinate (50 mg once a day, if there are no contraindications) for 2 weeks before the procedure, which helps to absorb botulinum toxin more easily, ensuring a faster and longer-lasting effect of the procedure.
+ How is biorevitalization different from mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy uses various cocktails (vitamins, amino acids, hyaluron, etc.), while biorevitalization uses only pure hyaluronic acid, the goal of which is intensive skin hydration and stimulation of regeneration.
